Call for AI Executors on Oraichain Mainnet 2.0’s subnetwork

AI Executors are responsible for the execution and verification of AI Requests on Oraichain Mainnet 2.0’s AI Execution subnetwork like the way VRF Executors are currently contributing to the generation of randomness. The subnetwork will help smart contracts safely use the results of AI computation and trigger actions, creating a verifiable and trustless AI Execution environment instead of a centralized AI computation.

Introduction to AI Execution Subnetwork

Oraichain has started taking important steps upon the grand transformation of Oraichain Mainnet 2.0 in Q1 2022 — from high-level scalability to seamless interoperability, the network is systematically in urgent need of parallel subnetworks running atop the main chain. These subnetworks will serve as Layer 2 chains and operate a multitude of services or DApps in concurrence with the Mainnet while not affecting its core logic and security but still ensuring the nature of decentralization.

VRF Subnetwork is the first subnetwork on Oraichain Mainnet 2.0 and we are now implementing an AI Executor Subnetwork with customized Optimistic Rollup and ZK-Rollup modules.

This subnetwork conducts Proof of Correctness and Proof of Execution mechanisms in order to help smart contracts safely use the results of AI computation and trigger actions, creating a verifiable and trustless AI Execution environment instead of a centralized AI computation that is integrated into smart contracts.

Who are the AI Executors?

AI Executors are responsible for the execution and verification of AI Requests on the AI Execution subnetwork like the way VRF Executors are currently contributing to the fully on-chain generation of randomness.

In general, this works similarly to how a validator takes care of block validation on the blockchain over the specified block time but is more dependent on the number of AI Oracle requests received from the main chain.

Call for AI Executors & Incentives

Similar to VRF executors, AI Executors don’t need much computing resources and don’t need to be online all the time (~Uptime 100%; however, we encourage you to maintain the Uptime as high as possible).

In addition to that, AI Executors can run code either on a server or on a desktop with simple installation and operation.

We will announce the complete tutorial for AI Executors after the registration phase ends.

We are opening a call for VRF Executors and will select the 15 most potential candidates to enter AI Executor Subnetwork’s pilot phase.
